Cristy O'Connor, DPT, CEAS attended Simmons College in Boston, where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Science and Health Studies with a minor in Biology, and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy, with concentration in Health Promotion.

She completed her internship at Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Newton, MA, and was employed at Goodall Hospital in the occupational health clinic prior to joining Pinewood Physical Therapy. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Orthopedic Section and recently completed certification as an Ergonomic Assessment Specialist.

Although Cristy evaluates and treats all areas of the body, she has special interest in the evaluation and treatment of the spine, and specializes in joint mobilization and manipulations that restore joint mobility and range of motion. Cristy states, "I always tell my patients that pain is an indication that something is wrong. We should listen to our bodies and learn ways to fix the problem before pain continues to alter the movement patterns that our bodies enjoy."
